“Rise Above” Campaign Hits $3 Million — and Your Support Can Be Matched!
ATC’s Rise Above campaign is soaring — and thanks to a generous challenge grant from the Connie Hillman Family Foundation, we’ve just entered an exciting new chapter.
The Foundation has pledged to match $1 for every $2 raised from new or increased donations — up to $300,000. That means your contribution now has an even greater impact in helping us reach our $6 million goal.
Since its public launch in March 2025, Rise Above has already surpassed the halfway point with over $3 million raised. This two-year initiative was created in response to the growing financial challenges arts organizations face nationwide, and it’s a rallying cry to secure the future of live professional theatre in Arizona.
“Thanks to the Hillman Family Foundation’s partnership, we’re attracting new donors and encouraging current supporters to increase their giving,” said ATC Artistic Director Matt August. “This effort is vital for the future of ATC and our mission of producing important and entertaining live theatre for our state.”
The campaign is also paving the way for legacy recognition. Arizona Theatre Company is offering naming rights opportunities at both of our venues — the Temple of Music and Art in Tucson and the Tempe Center for the Arts — allowing donors to leave a lasting mark on our theatres and in our communities.
Naming opportunities already secured include:
- Palice Courtyard
- Connie Hillman Family Foundation Cabaret
- Susan and Jeffrey Rein Box Office
- Radke Family Company Management Office
And in honor of one of our most generous supporters, our Tucson home is now recognized as:
The Temple of Music and Art, Home of the Arizona Theatre Company, in Honor of the Kasser Family.
Ready to be a part of something big? Whether you’re making a first-time gift, increasing your giving, or considering a legacy contribution, now is the time. Every dollar counts — and with this matching opportunity, every dollar goes even further.
