Learn more about the historic Temple of Music and Art and go behind the scenes on a guided tour!
This historic Spanish Colonial-style Tucson icon built in 1927 has been the home of Arizona Theatre Company for the past 35+ years. Condemned in 1985 and returned to its glory as a performing arts center by the City of Tucson, the Temple of Music and Art breathes grace and class with its beautiful surroundings of cobbled stone and quiet tree-lined Scott Avenue. This is a unique chance to pull back the curtain and explore the history of what Tucson Weekly calls “one of this city’s most elegant buildings.”
