has appeared on many Tucson stages and directed for several of Tucson’s theatre companies. Some of her favorite roles include Margery in Hand to God (Arizona Onstage Productions) and Rumpet (Scrooge) in Sonoran Desert Carol and Annabella in Ada and the Engine (Scoundrel and Scamp Theatre). As an accomplished playwright, her plays have been produced locally to great success. Wirges has served as a mentor/director for Live Theatre Workshop’s Young Playwrights program for the last three years and for Scoundrel and Scamp’s youth theatre classes for the last two years.
