Inside ATC Artist: Geoffrey Wade

Geoffrey Wade

is making his ATC debut. Wade portrayed Snape and Lord Voldemort in the original San Francisco company of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. He has appeared on Broadway and Off-Broadway, and he did the National Tours of Crazy for You and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime. His extensive regional theater appearances include at The Old Globe, La Jolla Playhouse, South Coast Repertory, Center Stage, Geva Theatre Center, Guthrie Theater, Denver Center Theatre Company, Cincinnati Playhouse, Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, and Philadelphia Drama Guild, as well as a long association with Vermont’s Weston Theater Company. Most recently, he performed in Gypsy at Goodspeed. Los Angeles work includes projects at La Mirada, the Odyssey, LA Theater Works, and Henry IV with Tom Hanks, directed by Daniel Sullivan. TV credits include NCIS, Mad Men, Brothers and Sisters, Numb3rs, ER, and four Law & Orders, etc. Film credits include City Hall, The Divide, and Steven Spielberg’s The BFG. Wade directed acclaimed productions of A Walk in the Woods and The Crucible. He has taught for many years at the Antaeus Academy. He was trained at Central in London where he met his wife, the poet and actress Amelia White. He is an avid photographer.
